Everyone I heard you guys are the best driver’s license restoration attorneys in Michigan. I have a question for my friend. My buddy moved to New York 5 years ago. When he left he just finished his probation on 2 drunk drivings he got within like 1 month of each other in Madison Heights and Chesterfield Township. A little while ago he went ot renew his driver’s license in New York and they told him to find a good attorneys in Michigan because until he cleared up his revoked license in Michigan because of his DUI convictions he could not drive in New York. Is this right? That seems unconsitutional!!!
Please let me know and I will tell him. If you can help him I have him call you tomorrow. Thanks.
No, that’s the way it works now. If you have a suspended license in Michigan, whether it be for drunk driving / DUI /OWI convictions, unpaid tickets, etc., then you will not be able to renew or obtain a driver’s license in any other state until the suspensions on your Michigan driver’s license is cleared. That means your friend cannot renew his driver’s license in New York until he hires clears the suspension or revokation of his Michigan driver’s license, and he should hire a lawyer who knows Michigan driver’s license law.
Our Michigan driver’s license attorneys have helped our client’s clear countless suspended driver’s license and revoked driver’s license cases over the years and I am sure we can help your buddy. However, he needs to call us for a free consultation as soon as possible because every client’s case is unique.
Thanks for your comment and post.
