I just wanted to say thanks to all you “Canu Torrice Law” attorneys because you have helped my sons and my whole family out so much, and have been so fair and reasonable with us for the past years that I can honestly say you have changed my opinion about lawyers. You guys are honest, hard working, professional, aggressive, and obviously highly respected in your Macomb County legal community. You helped me in a very ugly divorce and custody battle, and God knows my sons have had some issues from traffic tickets to drunk driving and drug charges and you have kept all their records clean, kept them out of jail, and kept me from losing my mind! My oldest is in college now doing very well because of you and the youngest will hopefull follow in his footsteps. You guys have been more than lawyers, you have been mentors, friends, and the father figures my kids never had… I love you guys for all you have done.
Love always,
your client and friend,
Thank you for your very nice compliments of my law firm. All of our attorneys work together as a team, like you know, and our entire practice is based on referrals – not advertisement – which says a lot because we are enjoying remarkable success. We like to think of our clients as our friends, not paychecks like most other law firms. It is because of praise like yours that we are motivated to work so hard and strive to offer not only legal representation to our clients (especially our young clients), but also legal consultation to help our clients get past their problems and succeed in the future.
Thanks again,
PETER A. TORRICE

I was divorced approximately 6 years ago..and at the time I was not in the right frame of mind..just wanted to get out! I was married 25 years. I worked 7 days a week to help put him through school to get his teaching certificate, also helped him build our home, never cheated on him, and went for the last 5 years without any affection in our marriage, which means him kissing good bye on the cheek etc. and no sex. I received only $31,000 and nothing else..did not receive part of his pension or anything He makes over $75,000 a year while I work at Walmart making less than $20,000 a year. I can barely afford to pay my rent, let alone anything else. QUESTION..is it possible, due to the economic times to re open this case? Would appreciate a reply so very very much. I just feel like I got the shaft.. How could someone love you at one time and allow this to happen to me? What the heck was my lawyer thinking anyway? and what was I thinking? At this rate, I will never be able to retire in this life time…Stresses me out every day to think of how he “screwed” me..just do not know what to do! Is it possible to re-open this case? That is all I want to know.
