I want to thank Peter Torrice for the quick response to my other question about Michigan’s Minimum Wage Law and he is right on! Thanks for the advice and it has already helped!!!
I have another question though: I am wondering if I have any claim to personal property left behind at my ex-wife’s house. We separated in late 2000 and the divorce was final in September, 2001. In out settlement agreement there was no specific personal property mentioned as to who gets what. We had both agreed to the division of personal property and I thought I got everything I had there. Recently my kids found a collection of sports trading cards which I forgot about. I’m wondering if I have any legal rights to ask for them back? The cards were not specifically mentioned in our divorce settlement.
Thanks again Peter Torrice and everyone at Canu Torrice Law… you guys have earned the title of Michigan’s best lawyers!
