My son was arrested for felony possession of analogues (Vicodin) and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and we need help. He is on probation for drunk driving (pled down to operating while visibly impaired OWVI) in Warren 37th district court.

Can you help my son? He has never been arrested other than his previous drunk driving in Warren Michigan, and he is in school, and I don’t want this to ruin his life!

I am a real estate agent and have been renting space in this office complex in Mt Clemens, Michigan from the guys who own the building for the last 2 years…suddenly we are not getting along and I have a feeling I may be kicked out soon! Need a Michigan civil / landlord-tenant attorney to advise me on my rights. I don’t have a written lease agreement, but I have been paying rent every month. How much notice do they have to give me before I get evicted? What if I refuse to leave? I’m freaking out because I have nothing lined up to move in to if they evict me, no place to go, and I need to know how much time I have in Michigan for an eviction proceeding before they can legally boot me out.

Okayy, dont laugh guys, but how long do points stay on your driving record??? I have a speeding ticket in Macomb Township and a red light ticket in Troy both from about 2-3 years ago and someone told me they only stay on for 2 years but my insurance agent says its still on my driving record with the state of michigan so what’s the right answer??? im getting killed here with my insurance i can barely afford to drive my car!!!

I’m 19 years old and I picked up an MIP (Minor in Possession) of alcohol charge at Michigan State University a few nights ago and I have court in East Lansing District Court coming up here pretty quick so I need a criminal defense lawyer for this MIP I think. I know a lot of people up here who got MIPs and they just went to East Lansing court for their MIP without a lawyer paid a fine and had to do some alchohol classes and take breathalyzers and stuff, and some who just got fined and walked away and plead guilty to MIP. I don’t know what to believe but I have never been in trouble before and  I am going to be really nervous standing in front of a judge alone.  I also heard those judges are really tough on these types of MIP cases because its a college town and MSU students have a bad rep for drinking too much and partying all the time.  I feel like I should hire an attorney for this MIP here at Michigan State.

Do I need a lawyer for this MIP charge at Michigan State in the East Lansing District Court, or should I just try to do it on my own? What can happen if I just plea guilty? Does this stay on my record or does it go away when I turn 21? I am confused and just want good advice from someone besides the other students up here who got busted by the police for an MIP at MSU. I need REAL advice. My parents CANNOT find out about this!!!!

I’m not sure if any lawyer or law firm can help me but my Michigan driver’s license is suspended or revoked not sure which because I didn’t pay my driver’s responsibility fees because of traffic tickets on my driving record. I didn’t know that no proof of insurance cost money with the state of Michigan for driver’s responsibility fees? Since when did that happen? Do I need an attorney to clear this driver’s license suspension in Michigan?

Can any attorney at your law firm help me with my suspended Michigan driver’s license? Almost all the posts I read on this blog deal with revoked driver’s licenses and driver’s license appeals and stuff and it seems like your law firm is the best for that but what about my case where my suspended Michigan driver’s license is from not paying my driver responsibility fees???? I need a Michigan lawyer to help me with my suspended driver’s license.  have a motorcycle and speed around a lot. I got 4 speeding tickets in Warren and Sterling Heights this summer alone, and now I am over 12 points on my Michigan driver’s license and my driver’s license is suspended.

I was drinking at Madison’s (the old Post bar) in Mt. Clemens a few Saturdays ago like we always do and some guy punched me and we fought and got kicked out of the bar.

I didn’t start anything but his friends said I did now I have an assult and battery charge in Mt Clemens in the 41-B District Court in Clinton Township and I need a lawyer.

I am looking for an experienced driver’s license lawyer in Michigan and found this web site on Google’s search engine. I live in Macomb County, but my drunk driving DUI cases were in Macomb County and Wayne County, I don’t know if that matters. Anyway, I went to get my license back last year on my own (I know, I know…stupid) and lost at Secretary of State DAAD, of course.
