I am 19 and am flat out busted for MIP being in possession of alcohol as a minor, and I know there is no way to beat the case but I probably need a lawyer anyway. I was at a party in Rochester Hills at my boyfriend’s house, parents were out of town and the cops came in I was wasted with a pint in my back pocket.   We were all underage drinking and some guys got busted fo smoking chronic, another guy had a few hits of Ecstacy and some vicodins, so we were all f&%ed right? Anywayyy, my question for one of you attornesy who deal with a lot of MIP cases in Michigan is what are the real legal consequences of being caught for MIP with a few beers and a pint of vodka as a minor? A lot of my friends up at school in Michigan at MSU, Central, U of M, etc., have been charged with MIP and all that happened to them was a fine and they were done but someone told me Rochester Hills was tough on MIP charges. Can you guys help with an MIP in Rochester Hills and what can I expect. Will I just get a fine for my MIP? They can’t put me in jail for a first offense MIP right, I read tht, just fine me or what? Are the judges in Rochester Hills tough or easy? I really don’t want my parents to know and would rather just walk away from this MIP if I can.  How does Michigan law treat a MIP on my record, does it go away?  Everyone I know has MIPs so I knew it was just a matter of time, so I guess its my time.  Should I hire a lawyer?

I need a Michigan drivers license lawyer for a driving while license suspended in Marine City Michigan. I havent had a Michigan drivers license in a year because of my 3rd drunk driving, which revoked my drivers license for 5 years,  and while my Michigan license was suspended or revoked for these drunk divings I got pulled over on the way to work by Michigan State Police just before getting on I-94 headed downtown Port Huron.  I went to jail and now I have court next week.

I was reading your website at www.AllLegalMatters.com about all the fines and suspensions that i will face with Michigan Secretary of State if anything goes on my record while my Michigan driver;s license is suspended and I obviously need the best Michigan driver’s license attorney I can afford. I lost my driver’s license in 2006 because I had 2 drunk driving convictions in like a 1 year period of time. My first conviction was for Impaired driving in Southfield, Michigan and my 2nd conviction was out of West Bloomfield Michigan in front of Judge Small who gave me jail and all types of probation and counseling.

I went to Secretary of State to get my Michigan driver’s license back after a year but got denied! Now I am eligible again but I obvioulsy need a good Michigan driver’s license lawyer because without one I got crushed by some dweeby guy with glasses at the Michigan Secretary of State who reemed me inside and out for no reason. That was honestly the scariest thing I have ever done, big mistake not to have a lawyer.

My question is I know you guys are known as the best driver’s license attorneys in Michigan by a lot of people, including my buddy who had 4 drunk drivings and you got him back on the road but since i screwed up alone the first time am i gonna get screwed this time even with a driver’s license lawyer?

I’m in big trouble guys! I was pulled over by cops for talking on my cell phone in Shelby Township by Shelby Township police. They said they smelled alcohol on my breath but I wasn’t drinking at all so that was a lie and asked me to step out of the car. I thought I was gonna get searched and I was scared so when they asked me if I had anything I wasn’t supposed to I told them I had some pills in my pocket and they pulled a pill bottle with 15 Vicodin and 12 Xanex that were not my prescription RX. Now I am being charged with Possession of Analogues which I didn’t know was a felony!!! I’m only 20 and in college and this will ruin my career and my life. I’m going to school and want to be in law enforcement but now I may be screwed?

Can police pull you over in Shelby Township for talking on your cell phone???? I never heard of that. Could they just ask me to step out of the car for no reason and start asking me questions about having stuff on me? Is having Vicodin or Xanex on you without a perscription really a felony? Can you help get rid of these charges or at least keep this felony off my record? Am I screwed with school and law enforcement?
